An Note from Tommy & Jeff

An educator at heart, Coach Tommy Amaker launched the Breakfast Club sixteen years ago at Harvard University.

It has grown to become the most popular university club in the entire country focused on leadership development.

The Breakfast Club regularly attracts to Harvard the country’s top luminaries - including former President Barak Obama, sports Hall of Famer, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and a wide range of diverse thought leaders, artists, CEOs, investors, and philanthropists.

Tommy - and leadership expert, Jeffrey Cohn - are on a mission to help talent reach their full potential - regardless of their background, age, geography, race, religion, political ideology, or school.

Because of that, we are making Breakfast Club lessons available to high potential talent anywhere in the world - offering virtual sessions, peer feedback, and access to our expert network - all free of charge.

Our admissions criteria are passion, a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and especially vulnerability, which we see as a sign of leadership strength.

We ask applicants to share with us a personal leadership challenge - like the fear of failure, the imposter syndrome, discomfort with risk and uncertainty, or a mental health challenge, to name a few. After all, there is no such thing as a perfect leader.

For those of you who have the courage to embrace this discomfort, we invite you to apply below and join the virtual breakfast club.
